Description
From Scuol, take the gondola to the mountain station and follow the Via Engiadina through open alpine terrain towards the east. Above the tree line, the path leads with magnificent views through the Jonvrai valley basin and crosses several mountain streams. The route then mostly runs flat along the slopes of Piz Champatsch with views of Scuol, the Clozza gorge, and the sunny village of Sent. Over light forests and Vastur, you descend to Sent. From there, natural roads lead into the quiet, wooded Val Sinestra. After crossing the Brancla, past the spa house, you change sides of the valley and ascend over a partially rock-carved path with suspension bridges up to Vnà. On a wide driving path through sunny terrace landscapes with impressive panorama, you continue towards Ramosch.
Geheimtipp
In the historic Val Sinestra spa house, it is worth taking a look at the bath floor, where cures and mud baths were once held. At the Brancla, arsenic-containing mineral springs can also be admired. The Zuort farm offers dining options.
