Health-promoting landscapes and personalised vitality holidays

The Lower Engadine is strengthening its role as a sustainable health region with the new regional policy project graubünden Health: health-promoting activities in nature, health forests and individually tailored vitality holidays for sustainable well-being.

Projects.

For greater wellbeing in the Engadin

As part of the graubünden Health development programme, the Lower Engadine region is focusing on the preventive power of nature and innovative, individually tailored health services. Two key sub-projects, carried out in collaboration with the Lower Engadine Health Centre (CSEB)/Clinica Curativa, form the core of the programme:

Health-promoting landscapes/health forests: Alpine nature as prevention

The sub-project Health-promoting landscapes/health forests combines the positive effects of nature with scientific research. Together with the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) and the Lower Engadine Health Centre (CSEB)/Clinica Curativa, existing offerings are being evaluated and developed into marketable products that combine health, sustainability, social and economic benefits.

Vacanzas Vitalas: Personalised vitality holidays

Vacanzas vitalas is a data-based health programme that combines vital data with personalised advice. Guests enjoy tailor-made health holidays that harmonise with the tourist attractions of the Engadin.

Wellbeing for Graubünden.

Over the next four years, the ‘graubünden Health’ development programme will work with partner destinations and Graubünden Holidays to lay the foundations for wellbeing holidays in Graubünden, making the concept tangible and bookable. TESSVM and the Lower Engadine Health Centre (CSEB)/Clinica Curativa are focusing on nature-based and data-based health services. The project is being implemented as part of the New Regional Policy of the Office for Economy and Tourism.
