2 day horse riding into Val Müstair

Day 1 San Jon - S-charl - Tamangur - Pass da Costainas - Lü - Tschierv
In the well-known S-Charl, where we are very close to the mountains, we make a short stop. Afterwards we ride past the highest pine forest in Europe, up to Alp Tamangur, where we have refreshments. Over the Pass da Costainas (2251m) we reach Lü after a descent and a short stop on Alp Champatsch. Afterwards we will tackle the last stage of the first day and will arrive in Tschierv in the evening.
Day 2: Tschierv - Süsom Givè - Funtanas da S-Charl - Tamangur - S-Charl - San Jon
Early in the morning we ride through the picturesque Münstertal in the direction of the Ofen Pass. On the Alp da Munt we take a lunch break and then have another brave ascent ahead of us. On Funtana da S-Charl (2393 m a.s.l.) we can enjoy a wonderful view. Afterwards we continue to Alp Tamangur, which is already known to us. In S-Charl there is a coffee stop before heading back to San Jon.

Meeting point: San Jon: 8.00 a.m. (grooming the horses, saddling the horses), departure 9.00 a.m.
Riding duration per day: 6 - 7 hours. Because of the many meters of altitude and the saddlebags, the treks are mainly ridden at a walk.
Overnight: Guesthouse "La Vopa", Tschierv
Meals: Dinner and breakfast are served at the inn. You can bring your own lunch or buy it on site at the hotel
What to bring: good footwear (hiking boots), rain protection, sun protection, small water or thermos bottle, warm clothing depending on the weather, riding helmet
