Mountain Beer Festival 2024

Beer festivals are everywhere. But a mountain beer festival nowhere yet. And here in the Engadine mountains, where Bieraria Tschlin SA is based, the initiators came up with the idea of organising a mountain beer festival and mountain beer hike. Something new. Something unique. And at the same time entertaining. Where not only the festival grounds have a special ambience, but also all the invited breweries are special, because they all come from the Swiss mountains and produce with mountain spring water. We are pleased to be able to hold the seventh Mountain Beer Festival on October 19, 2024.

The hike

The hike is 11.6 kilometers long, leisurely and full of views. On the opposite side of the valley, the 3000-metre peaks of the Engadine Dolomites tower up. And on this special day you will also learn what the Swiss mountain tastes like, as all mountain beer breweries produce with mountain spring water, which present themselves with the tasting stands on the hike. Up to the festival site, everyone can try about 25 types of mountain beer and continue drinking their newly chosen favorite beer on the festival site in Ramosch.

The start is in Tschlin, post stop between 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. The hike is individual. Each participant can decide for themselves when they want to start and how fast they want to run. At the start, each participant will receive a tasting glass, which can be used to taste at each stand. At the end, the glasses are intended for personal glass collection.

Also suitable for families

The hike is also very suitable for children. The only thing the hiking trail is not suitable for prams.

Running time: approx. 3.5 hours.

Comfortable walking shoes recommended.

Festival in Ramosch with the band VolXRoX

This year, all partygoers can look forward to it - because the party in the evening will take place with the band "VolXRoX". All mountain beer hikers can dance to the music in the evening and continue to enjoy the tasted beer. Of course, all guests who did not take part in the hike are also welcome.
