"The embroiderer"

Margrit Schriber presents the life story of Maria Antonia Räss, a farmer's daughter who set off for New York at the age of 27, ran a broderie house and Walt Disney and Coco Chanel shopped with her. At home she is known as the Crazy Woman. And when she visits the people of Appenzell, she upsets them when she swings through the rolling hills in her white Cadillac with her black driver.
