Description

The 15 km long trail is an extension of the Engadin Skimarathon trail from S-chanf to Zernez. It runs mostly through the forest on the right side of the Inn river down to Zernez and includes challenging climbs and descents.

Geheimtipp

Take the train from Zernez to S-chanf and then ski back to Zernez on cross-country skis, followed by enjoying a delicious piece of cake on the sun terrace of the Restaurant Center da Sport.

  • Hourly Rhätische Bahn service (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau, Scuol or Upper Engadin) to Zernez or S-chanf

  • Walk from S-chanf station to the trail start (approx. 15 minutes)

Arrival information


  • From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) to Lower Engadin on H27

  • From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27

  • From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofenpass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27

  • Zernez lies directly on the Engadin road H27 (15 minutes from Vereina south portal)
